SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2022

1 hour and 20 minutes for the aspirants eligible for the scribe
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam pattern consists of 100 questions from 4 sections, the details of each of which are given in the table below. Candidates must also refer to the SSC CGL syllabus 2022 after checking the examination pattern.

In Tier 1 exam, candidates have to answer multiple-choice questions and the questions will be in Hindi and English (except English understanding).
In Tier 1 examination, candidates will get a deduction of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
Candidates should obtain SSC CGL cut-off marks with minimum qualification to appear in Tier 2 examination.
SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2022
In Tier 2, candidates will get 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II (English Language and Understanding) and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper I, III, and IV.
Tier 2 consists of four papers – Paper I, II, III, IV.
Paper I and II are mandatory for all posts. Paper III is valid only for candidates who have applied for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and have been shortlisted in Tier 1 for this Post / Paper.
Paper IV is valid only for candidates who have applied for the post of Assistant Audit Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer and are shortlisted in Tier 1 for this Post / Paper.
In Tier 2, candidates will get 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II (English Language and Understanding) and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper I, III, and IV.

SSC CGL Data Entry Skill Test
Candidates wishing to apply for the post of Tax Assistant (Central Excise and Income Tax) may apply for the examination. According to the rules, candidates should have the ability to type 8000 key depressions every hour (on the computer). On the other hand, according to the skill test, candidates should type 2000 key depressions in 15 minutes.
