AFMS Recruitment 2021 Eligible Criteria

| SSC Officer | The applicant must possess medical qualifications included in the First/ Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of IMC Act 1956. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI. Postgraduate degree/diploma holders recognized by State Medical Council/MCI/NBE can also apply. |

AFMS Recruitment 2021 Salary Structure:
The Armed Forces Medical Services will have doctors on commissioning Rated Captain (or equivalent rank in Navy / Air Force) level 10B of Defense Pay Matrix BP Rs. 61300 + MSP Rs. 15500 + HRA by city category (if applicable), (i.e. X, Y, Z, Where is the post of officer) + NPA at prevailing rate + Transport allowance Rs.3600-7200 City category, (i.e. X, Y, Z where the officer’s post is) + dress allowance Rs. 20,000 (Annual) and Expensive Allowance as per prevailing rate At the time of joining, approximately Rs. 97000 / – pm).
AFMS Recruitment 2021 Selection Mode:
- Interview
Eligible candidates will be called for interview by the Board Officers at Army Hospital (R&R), Delhi Kent in December 2021 for their assessment.
Eligibility and eligibility for short service commission grant in Armed Forces Medical Services.
Candidates appearing for the first-time interview will be paid from there and their Sleeper-class railway/bus fare.
MERIT LIST
(a) It is to be noted that mere qualifying at the interview does not confirm final selection. A separate merit list of both males and females will be prepared purely on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the interview. Candidates with NCC Certificate will be given due weightage as under:- NCC Certificate Marks
(i) NCC ‘A’ Certificate 02
(ii) NCC ‘B’ Certificate 03
(iii) NCC ‘C’ Certificate 05
(b) From the prepared Merit list the candidates declared Medically FIT shall be issued
joining instruction for commissioning as SSC Officers up to the number of vacancies available
for each of the merit lists.
